About Side Street Steppers
The Side Street Steppers play American music from the 1920's and 30's — some tunes still familiar today, some tunes obscure even a century ago.
Get ready for plenty of hip-shakin', foot-stompin', caterwaulin' and croonin'! Playing acoustically on antique and homemade instruments, the Side Street Steppers present what they call "vintage music." Though created 100 years ago, the music is timeless, as exciting to hear today as it was when first performed. They dress the part and have an entire set of songs with hilarious innuendo direct from vaudeville.
The perfect band for any Speakeasy/Roaring '20s-style event, the Side Street Steppers are a staple of regional festivals, including Memphis Music & Heritage Festival, Delta Fair, Cooper Young Festival, RiverArtsFest, Indie Memphis Festival, Juke Joint Festival, and more. Contact us to book them for your event.
