Paying tribute to classic country duets (George & Tammy, Conway & Loretta, Porter & Dolly), Motel Mirrors is a charming project from some of the best artists in Memphis.
Renowned bassist/chanteuse/songwriter Amy LaVere, Texas guitar great Will Sexton, drummer Shawn Zorn, and guitarist/singer/songwriter John Paul Keith are all longtime friends and musical collaborators. Their affection and mutual respect are obvious every time they take the stage. It's a delightful listening experience, at turns funny ("You're the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly"), loving ("Suddenly You"), and heartbreaking ("Let Me Be Sweet to You") — just like all great country and Americana tunes.
