The joyous, energetic sound of the Mighty Souls Brass Band will make you want to dance in the street and start a parade.
Featuring Sean Murphy (sousaphone), Jim Spake (sax), Jeremy Shrader (trumpet, vocals), Earl Lowe (drums), and numerous Memphis music veterans like Art Edmaiston, Tom Lonardo, and Paul Taylor, to name just a few — this band can perform as a six-piece group or a 16-piece big band, depending on what's right for you.
They've played numerous high-profile venues (GPAC, Peabody Hotel, Overton Park Shell) and events (RiverArtsFest, AutoZone annual meeting, West Clinic gala), and they're always eager to bring their funky Memphis soul to any event. They're great for corporate events, festivals, and private functions that need a big, energetic sound to kick off a party.
For a real Memphis treat, we can add Elvis tribute artist Brian Lee Howell to sing a few tunes from The King at the end of your parade.
