This dynamic musical duo — Matt and Nikki Hill — play sultry blues, rockin' R&B, and scorching roots rock with passion and a deep love for the music that defines the South.

Whether as a duo, trio, or full band, Heartbreak Hill knows how to please a crowd. They've toured Europe, played blues festivals throughout North America, and can handle any event — from a sweaty blues club to a posh country club — with professionalism and talent to spare.

Hailing from North Carolina, Matt Hill was nurtured on the sounds of Link Wray, Nappy Brown, Howlin' Wolf, and Jerry Lee Lewis. He received a Blues Music Award for his debut album, On the Floor, and relocated to St. Louis after marrying Nikki in 2011. Nikki's graceful stage presence and powerful vocals are a perfect complement to Matt's high-octane persona, with growling, bluesy vocals and searing guitar solos.
