A sixth-generation Memphian, Grace Askew has been called "astoundingly defiant" (Spin), "sultry" (Rolling Stone), and "raw, real, and righteous" (also Rolling Stone).
With six studio albums and nearly a decade of touring under her belt, Grace has solidified her reputation as a relentlessly creative artist and a powerhouse of talent. She usually hits the road accompanied only by her truck, Wanda, though she has also joined the likes of James McMurtry, Leon Russell, Marty Stuart, T-Model Ford, Jesse Winchester, Lisa Marie Presley, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Colter Wall, and Hayes Carll. A gifted writer, she has won first place in several prestigious songwriting competitions. PBS featured her on The Sun Sessions, and she made it to the final 32 on The Voice in 2013.
She's lived in Memphis, New Orleans, and Nashville, so Grace's sound has developed into a unique blend of blues, soul, and country. She regularly tours the country, with particular emphasis on the Mississippi Delta and the Southwest.
Grace Askew performs as a solo artist, as a duo, and with a full band. Contact us for more information.
