Born in the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago, Darril "Harp" Edwards was raised on Calypso, the Limbo, and the steel drums, which is their national instrument.
As an adult, Harp emigrated to America and became a steel drum soloist, a music arranger, and a composer. He created a full band and a wide-ranging repertoire of pop standards and Caribbean music that instantly conjures sandy beaches, gentle ocean breezes, and relaxed, laid-back days.
With dynamic rhythms and funky grooves, Harp creates a fun, upbeat atmosphere for any event. Reggae, Calypso, Latin, soft rock, contemporary jazz, and much more: Harp provides a tasteful musical experience straight from the Caribbean.
Both as a solo performer and with the First Impressions Band, Harp is in constant demand to perform at weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and all kinds of parties, both formal and casual.
